MIAMI - PART II - ICONS

Qué sería de mí, empezar un post sin una buena postal! Sobre todo me gusta usarlas porque suelen reflejar muy bien lo más característico de cada lugar, aunque después depende de lo que el ojo de cada cámara quiera o logre captar! De lo que no hay ninguna duda es que los norteamericanos lucen su bandera nacional con orgullo y no hay lugar en el que no esté presente. Además de la bandera, hay muchos otros iconos, la esencia latina, los taxis amarillos, el autobús escolar, la pizza, que aunque de origen italiano lo que representa muy bien a américa es su tamaño, siempre son grandes pizzas, porque todo allá es a lo grande, grandes espacios, grandes centros comerciales, grandes aparcamientos, grandes edificios, grandes casas, grandes porciones de comida!! Todo es talla XXL!!! Para no extenderme mucho, una pequeña selección será sufiente por hoy, pero si tengo que escoger lo más representativo de Miami me quedo con el Flamboyán, un precioso árbol tropical de flores rojas, comúnmente llamado árbol de fuego y que combina perfectamente con el paisaje, con las palmeras, el intenso cielo azul y el sol! 

FLORIDA THE SUNSHINE STATE!!!

MIAMI - Part I

 

Apasionante!!! Si tengo que describir de alguna manera este viaje por tierras norteamericanas sería así! Esta vez tocó conocer algo más de la ciudad de MIAMI, en el Estado de Florida, también conocido como el "sunshine state". Combinar el Downtown con Miami Beach es la opción ideal para tener una amplia idea de lo que es esta maravillosa ciudad bañada por aguas cálidas y cristalinas, acariciada por el sol más brillante, de un intenso cielo azul y sobre todo trepidante, tanto de día como de noche, bailando siempre al son de la melosa música latina. Si tuviese que escoger un solo lugar, se me haría casi imposible, desde el famoso Ocean drive, recorriendo el distrito Art Decó, con sus combinadas casas de colores, hasta Little Havana y su Calle 8, no hubo un solo lugar que me dejase indiferente. Por eso, en estos reportajes, vamos a darnos un refrescante baño en la famosa playa de Miami Beach, conocer el distrito de Wyndwood, con sus murales, hacer unas cuantas compras en Lincoln Road Mall, Aventura Mall y si la cartera nos lo permite, en Bal Harbour Shops!, tomaremos el barco en Bayside para ver de cerca las casas de los famosos en Star Island, caminaremos por Española Way y probaremos la comida española fuera del territorio nacional, visitaremos el precioso barrio residencial de Coconut Grove y tantos otros sitios!! Quieres verlo? pues venga, vamos allá!!!

Comenzamos en Ocean Drive atravesando el Lummus Park y recorriendo el distrito Art Decó!! toma asiento y disfruta las imágenes!!!
