 De espectacular belleza y considerado uno de los parques nacionales más conocidos de Croacia es el Parque Nacional de Plitvice, (Plitvicka en croata). Un gran valle cubierto de bosque con varios lagos, cascadas, y hermosos manantiales forman este parque que fue declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad de la Unesco en 1979. El parque se puede recorrer a través de unos puentes de madera o por los lagos en unas silenciosas barcas. Es muy conocido también por la costumbre de celebrar las bodas al pie de las cataratas.

Un entorno privilegiado para cualquier celebración o simplemente para contemplar las maravillas de la naturaleza!!!

Of spectacular beauty and considered one of the most popular national parks in Croatia is the Plitvice National Park (Plitvicka in Croatian). A large valley covered with forests, lakes, waterfalls and springs, this beautiful park was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1979. The park can be explored through a wooden bridge or a quiet lake in boats. It is also known for the custom of celebrating weddings at the falls.

A privileged location for any celebration or simply to contemplate the wonders of nature!

PLAYA DE COSTA CALMA

En la sección THE WORLD VIEWED THROUGH OTHER EYES, (click en la barra debajo del título del blog), nuesta amiga Blanca Rodríguez, nos enseña una inmensa playa de arena dorada en la isla de Fuerteventura, Islas Canarias, la Playa de Costa Calma y nos presenta una iniciativa interesante promovida por un grupo de alemanes que hacen turismo en esa zona. Hoy continuamos haciendo un recorrido hacia otro lugar en la Sección THE WORLD VIEWED THROUGH OTHER EYES, y nos vamos un poco más lejos  para ver un impresionante paisaje, a través de una fotografía que nos muestra una región situada en el corazón de Asia Menor, concretamente CAPADOCIA, en Turquía, donde la belleza de un pintoresco paisaje lunar se mezcla muy bien con la existencia de unos pueblos subterráneos que hunden sus raíces en la historia.

AILLTE AN MHOTHAIR

Hoy en la sección THE WORLD VIEWED THROUGH OTHER EYES conoceremos a través de los ojos de Berta, una parte del condado de Clare en la República de Irlanda, concretamente los AILLTE AN MHOTHAIR como se le denomina en gaélico irlandés a los Acantilados de Moher o Cliffs of Moher. Conocidos como los "acantilados de la ruina", hay que decir que se elevan 120 metros sobre el océano Atlántico en un punto llamado Hag's Head y se extienden a lo largo de 8 kilómetros hasta alcanzar una altura de 214 metros! Wow! Así que, venga, vamos a verlos!!! Enjoy the pics!!!

Today in section THE WORLD VIEWED THROUGH OTHER EYES we know through the eyes of Berta, a part of County Clare in the Republic of Ireland, namely Aillte an Mhothair as it is called in Gaelic to the Cliffs of Moher. Known as the cliffs of the ruin, I must say that rise 120 meters above the Atlantic Ocean at a point called Hag's Head and extend over 8 km to reach a height of 214 meters! Wow! Hoy estrena El Bohío un nuevo apartado: "THE WORLD VIEWED THROUGH OTHER EYES" (El mundo visto por otros ojos). Está situado en la barra de pestañas que está debajo del título de este blog.

Esta es una nueva ventana por la que no solo vamos a poder ver diferentes lugares del mundo, sino que las imágenes irán acompañadas de un comentario o referencia que estará realizado por otras personas, de las cuales haré una presentación o introducción y en el que luego ellos describirán brevemente el lugar, darán una opinión sobre el mismo, una sugerencia, un recuerdo etc
