Si algo tienen en común estos edificios es que todos ellos albergan grandes y conocidos centros comerciales europeos! Con apenas 1 año de antigüedad, el Marineda City inaugurado en  A Coruña, España, viene a ser un nuevo concepto de macro área comercial, innovador, espacioso y con mucha luz natural. 

De reconocido prestigio internacional e impresionantes edificios; el Harrods y el Liberty en Londres, las Galeríes Lafayette en París o el Magna Plaza en Amsterdam, por citar alguno, son un buen ejemplo de arquitectura y diseño, cada uno en su estilo, pero... ya veremos detalles en otro momento!

If anything, these buildings have in common is that they all have high and known European shopping centers! With only 1 year old, the Marineda City opened in A Coruña, Spain, becomes a new concept of macro commercial, innovative, spacious and with natural light.

BIKES IN AMSTERDAM

Holanda es el país de las bicicletas y en Amsterdam hay bicicletas por todas partes! En las aceras, en los canales, en las entradas de las casas, en la ribera del río, apoyadas en las rejas, en todas partes!, hasta hay un enorme parking de bicicletas!. Lo curioso de todo es que se respeta mucho al ciclista, muy típico de la cultura europea y además es que tienen prioridad, con lo cual, el peatón debe circular con extrema cautela. Al principio, parece una invasión de bicicletas, que no te da tiempo a reaccionar, y al final te das cuenta que "la bici" termina formando parte de tan bello y singular paisaje urbano!

RECUERDA: SIEMPRE PENDIENTE DEL CARRIL BICI! Ring, ring, ring!!!

THE BLOEMENMARKT

Si hay algo que se puede considerar original, podríamos decir que es un mercado de flores flotante! El Bloemenmarkt de Amsterdam aparte de original es muy colorido y está situado en el canal de Singel, cerca de la Torre de la Moneda (Munttoren). Miles de flores se dan cita cada día para rendirle homenaje a la flor nacional de Holanda, el tulipán!, Rojos, anaranjados, violetas, rosas, amarillos...

The Amsterdam Bloemenmarkt original addition is very colorful and is located on the Singel canal, near the Torre de la Moneda (Munttoren).  Si quieres llevarte de recuerdo algo típico de Holanda, no dudes en adquirir unos zuecos de madera. Antiguamente, los "Klomplen" se utilizaban como calzado en la vida cotidiana, formando posteriormente parte del traje típico holandés. Hoy en día los encuentras de todos los colores y tamaños convertidos en graciosos "souvenirs". Recuerda que si te resultaran incómodos, siempre podrás utilizarlos para decorar la pared!!

CHEESE, FROMAGE O QUEIXO?

Al final todos sabemos que queremos decir "queso"! y que mejor que hacer un alto en el camino y degustar el delicioso Gouda en una de las tiendas más pintorescas del centro de Amsterdam. En las 9 callecitas, o De 9 Straatjes, podrás encontrar este comercio dedicado solo al queso, ofreciendo toda una variedad del producto estrella. No hace falta decir el nombre de la tienda, pues es muy fácil de encontrar! Está en las calles transversales de los canales Singel, Herengracht, Keizersgracht y Prinsengracht, entre Westerkerk y el canal de Leidsegracht. Ánimo que hay que encontrarla!! 

At the end we all know that we say "cheese"! and what better to make a stop on the way and a delicious Gouda in one of the quaint shops of downtown Amsterdam. In the 9 streets, or 9 Straatjes, you can find this cheese only dedicated trade, offering a variety of star product. Needless to say the name of the store, it is very easy to find! FACHADAS EN AMSTERDAM

Es imposible no quedarse admirando por largo rato la gran cantidad de detalles que albergan las fachadas en los edificios de Amsterdam. Aunque a primera vista puedan parecer todas iguales, la gran variedad es sorprendente, en la parte superior de los edificios se pueden observar diferentes tipos de hastiales, de campana, de cuello, de escalera... toma buena nota para tu próximo viaje!
