 Si quieres llevarte de recuerdo algo típico de Holanda, no dudes en adquirir unos zuecos de madera. Antiguamente, los "Klomplen" se utilizaban como calzado en la vida cotidiana, formando posteriormente parte del traje típico holandés. Hoy en día los encuentras de todos los colores y tamaños convertidos en graciosos "souvenirs". Recuerda que si te resultaran incómodos, siempre podrás utilizarlos para decorar la pared!!

Lo último que me podía imaginar en mi reciente viaje a París, es que a las 5 en punto de la tarde, me encontraría con el Kaiser de la moda, el director ejecutivo de la Maisón Chanel, Mister Karl Lagerfeld!. Ante la gran sorpresa y cámara en mano siempre, pude captar el momento que como ya he dicho en mi facebook esto es algo, que como mucho, puede que solo te pase una vez en la vida! Pues si, ahí en la Rúe Bonaparte fue el encuentro, en el mismísimo barrio de Saint Germain des Pres!

The last thing I could imagine in my recent trip to Paris, is that at 5 o'clock in the afternoon, I find the fashion Kaiser, executive director of the Maison Chanel, Mister Karl Lagerfeld!. Given the great surprise and always with camera in hand, I capture the moment as I said in my facebook this is something that most, you may only pass once in a lifetime! Well, there in the Rue Bonaparte was the meeting in the very neighborhood of Saint Germain des Pres!

Cojer el tranvía para hacer una ruta turística o trasladarse de un lugar a otro es algo que no se puede hacer en cualquier lugar que se visita. Desde 1997, la ciudad de A Coruña ha recuperado este emblemático medio de transporte. Subiendo a bordo, podemos hacer un largo recorrido por el impresionante paseo marítimo que pasa por el Orzán y Riazor, pasando también por la Torre de Hércules, La Casa de los Peces, El Museo del Hombre así como el monumento al Surfista, entre otras estampas singulares. Ya sabes! acércate a Coruña y viaja en el tranvía!!!  

Grab the tram for a tourist route or move from one place to another is something that can not be done anywhere you visit. Since 1997, the city of A Coruña has recovered this iconic mode of transport. Climbing aboard, we can make a long journey through the stunning promenade that passes through the Orzán and Riazor well as through the Tower of Hercules, The Fish House, The Museum of Man and the monument to the Surfer, among other prints singular. CHEESE, FROMAGE O QUEIXO?

Al final todos sabemos que queremos decir "queso"! y que mejor que hacer un alto en el camino y degustar el delicioso Gouda en una de las tiendas más pintorescas del centro de Amsterdam. En las 9 callecitas, o De 9 Straatjes, podrás encontrar este comercio dedicado solo al queso, ofreciendo toda una variedad del producto estrella. No hace falta decir el nombre de la tienda, pues es muy fácil de encontrar! Está en las calles transversales de los canales Singel, Herengracht, Keizersgracht y Prinsengracht, entre Westerkerk y el canal de Leidsegracht. Ánimo que hay que encontrarla!! 

At the end we all know that we say "cheese"! and what better to make a stop on the way and a delicious Gouda in one of the quaint shops of downtown Amsterdam. In the 9 streets, or 9 Straatjes, you can find this cheese only dedicated trade, offering a variety of star product. Needless to say the name of the store, it is very easy to find! It is on the side streets of the Singel, Herengracht, Keizersgracht and Prinsengracht, between Westerkerk Leidsegracht channel. Encouragement is to be found!

UNA TARDE EN EL PASEO DE LA HERRADURA

Un lugar que puede resultar interesante para dar un paseo, sentarse a leer un libro, ver los patitos, descansar de los intensos recorridos turísticos o simplemente sentarse para observar a los transeúntes, es el Paseo de la Herradura, en Santiago de Compostela. Tomando como referencia la Iglesia del Pilar, podemos empezar nuestro recorrido, que nos llevará al final del mismo, una vez más a contemplar la catedral en todo su esplendor!

A place that might be interesting for a walk, sit and read a book, watch the ducks, take a break from intense sightseeing or just sitting to watch the passers-by, is the Paseo de la Herradura in Santiago de Compostela. Referencing the Pilar Church, we can begin our journey, taking us to the end of it, once more to see the cathedral in all its glory!
