Regresando a Venecia desde Lido/ Back to Venice from Lido



LUCCA - ITALY

Continuamos en la bella Toscana, recorriéndola en tren y parando a visitar sus maravillosos pueblos. Próxima parada: LUCCA!!! una ciudad medieval en perfecto estado de conservación, especialmente curiosa y lugar de nacimiento del compositor Giacomo Puccini, autor de la famosa ópera Madame Butterfly. Llama la atención su Piazza San Michele, de forma circular, lugar donde estaba ubicado el antiguo foro romano. Una ciudad perfecta para explorar a pie o en bicicleta, una buena alternativa para conocer las famosas murallas que la bordean! En bici o a pie... espectacular!!! 

We continue in the beautiful Tuscany, train crossing it and stopping to visit its wonderful people. Next stop: LUCCA! a medieval town in perfect condition, especially curious and birthplace of composer Giacomo Puccini, author of the famous opera Madame Butterfly. Remarkably Piazza San Michele, of circular shape, where was located the ancient Roman Forum. A perfect city to explore on foot or bicycle, a good alternative for the famous walls that border! By bike or walk ... spectacular!

CAMPO DEI MIRACOLI: EL DUOMO, EL BAPTISTERIO Y LA TORRE DE PISA

Salimos de Florencia con el objetivo de continuar nuestro recorrido por la hermosa Toscana, el cielo azul, los verdes campos llenos de hileras de cipreses y las típicas casas de color ocre completan el escenario. Cogemos el tren y en poco tiempo llegamos a la Estación Central de... PISA!!! Ya no puedo esperar más!!! quiero verla!!! hace mucho tiempo que esperaba este momento! cruzamos el río, atravesamos la ciudad  antigua y ... ahí está... la Torre de Pisa!. Me quedo sin palabras!

Situada en el Campo dei Miracoli, junto al Duomo y el Baptisterio, forman un precioso conjunto arquitectónico.  Misión cumplida!

Ahora a tomar un refresquito y saborear unas milhojas de crema mientras contemplamos la estampa y luego un pequeño recorrido para explorar la ciudad. No se la pierdan!!!  

We left Florence in order to continue our journey through beautiful Tuscany, blue sky, green fields filled with rows of cypresses and the typical houses of ocher colored complete the picture. We take the train and soon arrived at the Central Station ... PISA! I can not wait any longer! I want to see it! expected long ago now! crossed the river, cross the old city and ... there it is ... the Tower of Pisa!. I'm speechless!

Located in the Campo dei Miracoli, next to the Duomo and the Baptistery, a beautiful architectural form.Mission accomplished!

Now take a "refresquito" (refreshment) and taste some cream strudel as we contemplate the picture and then a short tour to explore the city. Do not miss it!!!

Hoy voy a contar una pequeña historia en forma de relato, de como descubrimos algunas cosas interesantes de Florencia buscando una "trattoria", dicen que cuando viajas cada momento debe ser mágico, así que tomen asiento...cae la tarde...comienza el cuento:

Today I'll tell you a little story into a story of how we discovered some interesting things about Florence looking for a "trattoria", they says  that when traveling each time should be magical, so sit down ... evening falls ... begins the story:

Era una cálida tarde del mes de agosto cuando paseábamos por las hermosas calles de Florencia, antes de dirigirnos al restaurante que nos habían recomendado para cenar, la Trattoria Forno Antica. Contemplábamos la belleza del paisaje con sus puentes y sus casas a un lado del río...
