Junto al río Bernesga en la ciudad de León, y convertido hoy en día en Parador de Turismo, el edificio conocido como Hostal de San Marcos alberga además la iglesia consagrada en 1541 y el Museo de León desde 1869. El conjunto es una buena representación del Renacimiento hispano, con una impresionante fachada plateresca, rematada en crestería y candelabros. En su interior, además del claustro, se conservan innumerables colecciones de arte y decorativas, pinturas de la antigua escuela flamenca, tallas de madera, muebles recuperados de iglesias, tapices y otras obras de época. Si te hospedas unos días aquí, no hay lugar a dudas de que te trasladarás a otra época!!!! Disfruta!!!!
