En la Opéra Palais Garnier de París, que está hoy día dedicada casi en exclusiva a la danza, llama especialmente la atención, "Le grand Foyer", el Gran Salón de descanso, aunque es una dependencia más del impresionante conjunto que forma con la gran escalinata principal, el teatro y el salón glaciar. El espectacular techo pintado por Paul Baudry representa temas de la historia de la música, siendo la lira el elemento decorativo principal. En el centro del salón hay una copia del busto de Charles Garnier. Un salón impresionante!!!
