QUE SE CONSERVE LA TRADICIÓN!!!
"Entroido," is known as Carnival in Galicia. His origin, dating back to times ancentrales, some attribute it to the Celtic culture, others linked to the change of season or the period of abstinence before Lent. The "Peliqueiros" of Laza, the "Cigarróns" of Verín, the "Pantallas" of Xinzo, "Generales" of Ulla, "Boteiros" of Viana do Bolo, parrot "Ravachol" in Pontevedra, are some of the most typical representatives of the party. The calendar of Carnival in Galicia is very complete and extensive, many towns that celebrate their traditional customs, with strong roots and social monitoring. At this end of the holidays, Ash Wednesday is the day on which many localities choose to make the "Burial of the Sardine".
KEEP THAT TRADITION!
